Anyway, I am pretty certain that I won that contest.
Dad went down the waterslide - once. I think he got water up his nose. Besides that, we got yelled at by two lifeguards. Evidentally, we were sitting on the edge of the pool, dangling our feet in the water, and no lifeguard was assigned to that particular area. So before we got into any more trouble, we left the water slide area and made our way over to the "baby pool". It is called the baby pool for obvious reasons: 90% of it's occupants are under the age of two.
The water was quite a bit cooler and Dad got to stand under one of those umbrellas and let cool water fall on his head. Once again, we tried to take pictures of ourselves without being too conspicuous. Hard to do when you are made to sit on a giant green frog with a pink tongue. But it was refreshing and we had a good time. Once again, we probably wouldn't have done this if we hadn't had a little card suggesting it. Thanks.

I think you guys are knocking out the easy ones first :) This trip to the pool sounds like fun, even if it was a little embarassing splashing around the kids pool. You could have taken Rowen and Redick and really had a good excuse. I didn't realize that the Charleston pool had those features. I guess it's been years since I was there.
ReplyDeleteWell, you guys can save the casino gambling and horseback/ATV riding, mountain climbing, and maybe even kayaking until you come out here if you want. Glad you're having fun (I hope) with the list.
I'm kind of glad i wasn't there for this one...
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are cracking me up. I love it! Patrick and I are really looking forward to seeing this list completed. Go Bill and Cheryl!!!
